Title: You ever tried these ?
Post by: jordan172005 on May 21, 2007, 04:55:53 PM
I thought it would be cool to have some under glows on my gs500... I found these on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/12-DUAL-RED-COLD-CATHODE-LIGHT-KIT-ULTRA-BRIGHT-CCFL_W0QQitemZ180118853013QQihZ008QQcategoryZ51064QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I was wondering if these would work? I mean I'm pretty sure they'll work but I'm worried about vibrations and bumps breaking them.

I sold those in my computer store and used those exact tubes to build custom PC's in the past. They looked cool in the PC cases  :icon_mrgreen: on a bike though.. I duno.. The are pretty durable, I would maybe waterproof em somehow,Cover them w/ a clear tube or something. and the red was one of the lightest colors. Blue was MUCH brighter  :thumb: Also.. I dont know what they would do to the GS's electrical system  O0

For Less than $10 total.. Try em  :thumb:
