Stupid master link was frozen up when I went to change my chain today...........I got impatient with the hacksaw and the cut blade with the dremel. So I pushed the wheel all the way forward and slipped the chain off and let it lay on the ground. I then proceded to break out my trusty friend Mr. Axe. Worked great. And the new chain is friggin great :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Dremel should have cut it off great, just takes some high revs and a little time. I wouldn't swing an axe anywhere near my bike, cause if i hit it i would be really really really pissed at myself....
I pulled my old master link off with a screwdriver and hammer... Then I connected the new chain to the old one and ran it through...
Then I used plyers to put on the new master link.
In other words... I'm a good example of how NOT to put on a chain. :icon_confused:

Seems like something i might have tried had i not had the dremel. That or cut the b*&^h with bolt cutters
Edited because a bad word didn't get filtered
My dremel battery died. Once I hacked at it, it was too late to go back so I found a way... :icon_confused:
Yeah that suck, the first one i had the battery died too. Then I got a great multispeed corded dremel and its been cutting things great since 2000
Condo Life == No power source in the garage.
My apt doesn't have outdoor power either. I have very long extention cord that I hang out the sliding glass door, and drop down to the ground, from 3rd floor. Then I plug in my dremel and chop away at whatever I need to. Looks getto but gets me power
I was thinking about a 1cm chunk of Detcord, but I decided not to given a full tank of gas :icon_confused: :icon_confused: :icon_confused: Didn't really want to take the chance :thumb: :thumb: My dremel sucks :thumb: :thumb: it's the cheapo battery one 10k rpm max
yeah mine is a 35k rpm. It rocks, can take a bit to chew through really hard metal but its great.
did you see Harsh Times yet, spcterry?
Nope, not real big on movies....don't see any point in watching something about life when you can just live it yourself :thumb: i do make exceptions for classics and Military based movies though.
the internets dont count as real life, terry... and you would relate to that movie dude I promise u. If you dont find it highly awesome I will send you the $3.50 rental fee okay?
