Title: Best chain tool ever!!
Post by: spc on May 21, 2007, 07:50:32 PM
Stupid master link was frozen up when I went to change my chain today...........I got impatient with the hacksaw and the cut blade with the dremel.  So  I pushed the wheel all the way forward and slipped the chain off and let it lay on the ground.  I then proceded to break out my trusty friend Mr. Axe.  Worked great.  And the new chain is friggin great :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Dremel should have cut it off great, just takes some high revs and a little time.  I wouldn't swing an axe anywhere near my bike, cause if i hit it i would be really really really pissed at myself....

I pulled my old master link off with a screwdriver and hammer...   Then I connected the new chain to the old one and ran it through...

Then I used plyers to put on the new master link.

In other words...   I'm a good example of how NOT to put on a chain. :icon_confused:

My dremel battery died.     Once I hacked at it, it was too late to go back so I found a way... :icon_confused:

My apt doesn't have outdoor power either.  I have very long extention cord that I hang out the sliding glass door, and drop down to the ground, from 3rd floor.  Then I plug in my dremel and chop away at whatever I need to.  Looks getto but gets me power

Nope, not real big on movies....don't see any point in watching something about life when you can just live it yourself :thumb:  i do make exceptions for classics and Military based movies though.
