Title: Air Filter Help

How do you get to the air filter on a 96? i know you have to get the gas tank off but dont know how to do that either. i lost my manual. and also how do you know what suspension setting its on? i want to soften it up a little bit.

take seat off.
remove the 2 bolts that hold the tail plastic on.
pull the sides out until the panels come out of their rubber gromets.
slide the tail back and down so that you can get at the two bolts in the subframe that hold the tank on.
remove bolts.
take a short 2x4 block and prop the back of the tank on it to give you some room to get at the air box (you will stretch the fuel lines).
Unscrew the airfilter.
Put in new one.
put it back together.

The shock has a collar with elongated holes in them and numbers stamped underneight them. On the left and right side of the shock, there are bumps on the shock body you can see thru the holes. This is what setting the shock is on. Use the spanner and handle that comes with the bike's tool kit to turn this collar to whatever setting you want.
