Title: Goodbye GS
Post by: MrDan on May 25, 2007, 01:04:32 PM
You will be sorely missed.  The $1150 in my pocket doesn't make it much easier but it helps :)

Cue sappy music ...

Now I'm off to look at the SVS :)

I sorta know the feeling, after many years I will be parting ways with my GS soon as I just picked up a VFR.  I need to do some work to her first then sell her as I can't really afford to keep 2 bikes in the garage. It's going to be tough to let go though.

Actually my second - both from this board.  CoreyGS and Srinath led me down the path.

With The Money And Effort Gone Into Mine , Ill Never Sell Her, When My Little Brother Turns 21 , *3 Years Time* , I May Gove it to him as a present , with the Promise of he doesnt ever sell it , even if i had to take her off the road and keep her in my garage , when im old enuff to get a GSXR 600 .

I Loive it tho , Its the most perfect shape to be streetfightered , a decent looking , frame with no sticky out bits,

I Love Suzuki !

Enjoy the SV-S.  A fantastic motor combined with a supersport riding position.  Post pictures when you get'er -- we're always up for reviews with something pretty to look at.   :)

Bwaaaa $1150 ... damn that clip on was worth more than that ...
I'd have sent you 2-3 clowns wanting to pay more than that (You never posted here with a $$ BTW I think) Yea I heard some rumblings about wanting to sell etc ... but I didn't want to circle like a vulture.
Good luck with the SV, you sure will want a GS back after riding an SV ... mine felt like it was made of potato chips.
Cool.
Srinath.

I bought the GSX 600f for parts , i took it for a little spin before i started to break it , and i hated it , to heavy , and the extra BHP didnt seem to do anything ,  the gs is so light a  flickable *Sighs* i love it  lol

Damn - I thought I was making out well.

I already do miss the GS.  The SVS is putting my right hand to sleep - need to work on that.  Only have 198 miles on her so far since I got caught in a bad storm Sunday.  I hope to have the 600mi service by next weekend.  It's a fun ride.  I'll post a little comparo after another hundred miles or so.
