Still an avid fan and reader but yesterday I sold my 2005 GS500F (1750 mi.). One call...one sale (35 hundred dollar bills later). He was a broker for State 8 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Will probably sell it for about 3900.00 at the dealership. (Tried to sell it here but no takers). Still have a Katana GSX600F (03).

See your in the Cleveland area too, I get mailings from State 8 all time wanting to buy used bikes.
A new Suzuki dealer in Mentor is selling brand new 06 Katana 600s for $5500 and has a bunch in stock. The 07 GS500F lists for $5200 so that Kat 600 that I recently described as a fat pig compared to the GS is starting to look much better.

How come? Other than a weight issue don't you like 4 carbs & cyl. vs two?
Well , its very very heavy . and when i sit on it , i dont get the feeling i get when i sit on a GS , with a gs feels like im wrapped round it , and i no exactly what i want to do with it , plus i want the Kat end for the GS :P
