Well i'm selling my 89 gs500e, but just recently came across a motor for a 2001, so i was wondering what year motors will fit and bolt up as stock to my 89 gs500e?

All of them, but ... Atleast through 02 for sure. Just get all the electronics etc with the 00+'s ... the TPS and advancers etc are all complicated. Through 00 its identical.
