Title: so purdy

Why do I lust after some of these old bikes? I'm tempted to bid $500... Piston slap sounds not so good though. Of course piston slap under only high load seems unlikey, but could be any number of things... I'm thinking that 28,000 miles and making weird noises during hard accelleration would not be a good sign...

Nice looking bike, I never understood why they ever put rectangular headlights on bikes though.

I used to hate the rectangular headlight on those too, but it has grown on me some

I'm not a big fan of them... I'm still debating bidding $500 on it. That's an older fairly rare bike, I'd bet it's worth more than $500 parted out...

Ha, I didn't even notice they wrote nice looking bike in the description. I wasn't being sarcastic, the bike looks cool. I just don't care for those rectangular headlights.

No ... parting out may not quite net you the 500 you hope it does.
I doubt any bike is actually profitable parted out. Too much of all of that on fleabay.
Cool.
