OK my turn to be a noobie Captain Jack Tardo, but I can find the posting on that little light under the headlamp on my 07 F-series.
Its my understanding I can put a color changing LED there. My questions are
1. Is it a direct replacement/plug and play bulb
2. Where can I get it
3. How much
4. What is it again? :cookoo:
If I understood correctly what you said, you might be talking about the so-called "parking light"...it must have a power of 4 watts IIRC, and lights up together with the taillight when turning ignition key to "P" position.
In older models (such as mine), it would also light up when riding (together with taillight, again) with lights switch into intermediate ("position") position (...not a pun :icon_mrgreen:). Today this feature is not in use anymore because here (and in other European/world countries, I suppose) low-beam headlight is mandatory anytime anywhere.(more recent bikes, including GS's, have automatic lights switch-on feature)
Mine is a 2001 naked for EU market, but I think this can be applied to your 2007 F too.
uhm.
You can (or used to) be able to buy it at autozone. Its a standard 198 size Color Changing LED Bulb.
Directly Plug and Play
I think I paid 10 bucks and it comes in a pack of 2.... warning though, I've had to use up both of them, as it burned out quickly.

Thanks Tragic, it was your post I couldnt find. Im calling AutoZone as we speak.
And just mt luck, noone has them.
Trust me, they're not worth it.
Spend 25 bucks at SuperbrightLEDS.com and get the color you want, and swap out your dash lights at the same time. Trust me, its worth it.
More LED info for the front parking light can be found here:
