obviously not a direct bolt on......but its half there
koool
Noob here, what would it take to make it work? :dunno_white:
$1500 rims on a bike that cost $4k when new? That's a little ghetto riche, don't you think? I'm gonna toss some 24" rims on my 1988 Cutlass Ciera, that'll look dope yo.
Its a bit OTT , but think of Jims bikes , if u want a GS like that , you gotta pay
money, those rims cost more than a gs, but would be good for people that want to serious performance and stick with narrow rims.
might as well go all the way and buy some bts carbon fiber rims.. if your going to do it do it right.
You recon there gonna 'seroiusly add proformance? , might be lighter , but you wont be able 2 get very sticky rubber for them i doubt
I think the moral is: dont burn 1500 bucks upgrading a bike in one aspect. if your gonna go all out on the GS, go all out. you'll end up spending a shaZam! ton. But it's already proven that you can make a GS damn sexy ( just look at Jim's stuff ) If your gonna get those rims for the GS at least have the decency to upgrade the swingarm and front end and maybe custom paint and major engine mods.
Or you could take you 10-12k and buy a Duc or Repsol or soething that comes from the factory with bling :thumb:
MY kat front ends gonna be fitted today :P . hehe im waiting to get a undertray before i put my r1 light in properly :P:P
u feeling better dude?
ehhhh...I'm alive  cool man. I didnt say anything about a front end. that makes sense. better suspension better braking :thumb: I want my bike back but insurance says to ket it stay until they asses it. already said if it's totalled, I can buy it back for 25% of whatever they pay out :thumb:
Lets hope the forks are striaght , and the exhaust isnt ground beef , Good job dude , keep strong :thumb:
yeah I'm ready to ride again
no the bts carbon fiber rims hold any the same type of tires that any other bike or rim does. the difference is the weight and the amount of power it takes to turn them over. I believe the stats were 30-40% less weight then regular tungston or cobalt or aluminum rims. And 40 % less effort to rotate them.. which translates into more horesepower.
