OK so as we all know I'm special. I'm sitting here watching ' dude, where's my car' and the scanner starts chirping.......I pick out wreck, DUI suspected, and the name of a pretty big road around here. I brush it off....happens all the time. Then I catch a victim name, critical condition, hit and run, and a request for a cleanup for his bike  ( 600rr ) The guy is a local in the MC reserves, just came home from iraq where he lost a childhood best-friend, and a member of the sheriff's department  I'm about 2 minutes from calling a couple of grunt buddies and finding the guy who hit him ( decent description of vehicle headed in a direction with only 1 small town for about 50 miles, so it'd be a pretty good bet we'd find him ) and draggin his sorry ass down the road by a rope until his foot pops off or the screaming stops, f%$k knopws what after that. I'll probably just let the SD take care of it. I'm taking a shower, and heading to the hospital to see how he is
get your buddies to find him anyway...then hold him til the cops show up. citizens arrest, ya know...
there wouldnt be anything for the cops to find :icon_rolleyes: they'd kill him before they even thought about it :icon_rolleyes:
I just got back he'll be OK......road rash, couple of broken ribs and a collapsed lung that the docs say will be OK. They're gonna move him to a room in a few hours....he'll be there at least a week because of the lung though :icon_confused:
BTW: driving a stick with one hand sore as shaZam!/in a cast can be rather tricky
Oh: his helmet/jacket looked even worse than mine :o and the ER is really tired of seeing bikers.
My ortho doc had 7 surgeries the day I had mine, 5 of them were motorcycle wreck related..........I'm gonna start shooting at cages randomly, bet that'll teach em to look out for bikes. of course first I have to get this damn hand all healed up
I had to drive my RX-7 (5spd) to the hospitol once with my right shoulder and left hip both out of socket.
