Title: Katana Front End
Post by: Jay_wolf on June 04, 2007, 10:06:05 AM
Right , id like to say thanks for everyones ideas on how to remove the bolt , in the end , i hacksawed it , and im going to either look for a top on ebay , or just go to a machinist and have it drilled out , and have new threads inside , but im very very pleased that the bearings or anything wasnt welded on , so its gonna be a easy swop , i have Dgyvers Spacers , now i need a metal file to make a shoulder , but after that a breeze , the wheels are going to be painted , the forks are going to be painted ,  :thumb: very pleased

To bad that engine wouldn't fit.  :icon_mrgreen: Doing the same swap soon plus 4.5 Bandit 600 rear wheel. Trying to get those spacers as well.
