Title: how to remove the headlight fork bracket

so how do you get that thing off? do you have to take the triple tree and bars off?

You do not need to pull the fork tubes. If you remove the handlebars, handlebar mount and the top triple clamp....the headlight brackets will slide up off of the forks.

no, the brgs have a nut securing them and will not need adjustment

thanks guys, i am putting in dual carbon defender lights that need to be lower than the stock one so i could not use the standard bracket.   looks like it is going to be more work than i though.  i'll save it for a rainy day
