so youd ban that?? it only get 8 miles to the gallon
Now see there's your prolem no one needs a car like that :icon_rolleyes: So if it's gas mileage is so poor then yes it should be banned.
The problem is not consumption the problem is supply. Old refineries are putting out less and less. It is practically illegal to expand refineries or to build new ones.
Get off the backs of big oil and let them increase refining capacity and we would all forget about this in 4 or 5 years when capacity began increasing.
Talking on cell phone, putting on make-up, reading the news paper, checking your emails, basically doing anything but driveing while your are driving.
Biggest problem isn't the law's it's the enforcement of law's. Unless it's an accident or your speeding most cops won't pull you over for doing anytning else.

Yeah it is already, :icon_rolleyes:
I laugh everytime we propose a new cell phone law in oklahoma. We already have an ordinance which pertains to said proble driving while distracted and if you think it's a joke many people have been ticketed for just such an offense at the scenes of accidents becasue of these things.

Yea ... those are like 1/2 mongol, 1/2 central asian, 1/2 siberian, 1/2 african - AKA Indian ... OK ... the whole on North and south america was of that origin.
In 800 years they populated the whole continent. Red Indians are very close to mongol/siberian guys.
Cool.

:2guns: Cell phone use while driving, to wit, in the River City here recently three incidents for your consideration.
A) Alpha Male in Hummer reaches for cell phone, runs red light, hits mini-van in intersection and kills the innocent driver.
B)Young kid(sorry 'bout that you youngsters :dunno_white:) is text-messaging on his phone and runs down kid in steet, killing him.
C)Teacher leaves school, starts "dialing" cell phone, runs stop sign w/her Civic, gets T-boned by school bus and is killed.
My own recent observations.......
1) I'm getting reading to turn on my green arrow and some blond bimbo blows blatantly thru her red light, yakking on the phone, totally oblivious to what she just did.
2) Old lady in Mercury Gran Marquis (naturally) is talking on the cell phone, tries to make the 90 degree left turn from the stop sign, and because she's holding the phone with one hand, runs off the road and over the curb with her car!
3) Lady in SUV passes me on left ( she's talking on cell phone), then pulls in front (and ahead of me). She drives 2 blocks staying in curb lane, puts on right turn signal, then suddenly turns LEFT, leaving my lane and crossing 4 other lanes of traffic to complete her left turn.
I've told my wife that if I should get killed in an accident caused by the inattention of a cell phone user, go after the driver and their insurance people for everything. Show no mercy, I told here. Take them for all that they might have, including their house and savings and investments. There's no phone call that's so important that you can't pull off the road to make/answer.
Riding without a helmet should be law everywhere.
guns except for police and military the only exception would be long guns for hunting but strickly regulated

wont happen :nono:because the only ones youd get the guns from would be the law abiding citizens, not the criminals :thumb:
Well they can take my guns off me when they pry them out of my cold dead hands :2guns: :2guns:

numéro deux douchebag.
I would basically make it illegal for females to drive.
Oh, you can add making automatic transmissions, traction control, stability control etc. and four-stroke motocross bikes illegal as well :2guns:
Airbags on motorcycles. Honda should be forced out of the market for a couple of years for that alone. I'd also love to see a general boycott of ABS and automatic clutches/shifters on motorcycles. It's just giving the sub-human legislative power-grabber critters ideas about what to make mandatory further down the road... if they can't kill motorcycling outright, they can kill the fun and watch it die slowly, like they're doing with private planes.
How does an airbag "kill the fun?"
