Got finished about 3am last night cause I had nothing else to do.
Looks like everything went back together right, I labeled everything when I unplugged it so I knew where it went back to. Got to ride it today and it runs fine no problems it seems on being lean or rich. I put in 140 mains and 40 pilots and 2 washers on the needle. I havent balanced the carbs but it doesnt feel any different than before when it was stock. All in all wasnt as hard as I thought it would be with taking apart the carbs. I think the hardest part is getting the fuel lines hooked back up to the tank and clamps in place. And remembering to hook up the vent/overflow tube oh and then remembering to turn the fuel back on! Sucked taking the tank off and back on 3 times to do all that.
Makes a lot of room without the airbox also, got my GSXR750 shock today and the room is needed for the reseviour on it. Now just need my new rear wheel and tires so I can put all that on, next weekend maybe?
Awesome.. this is my next mod. How does it sound at high rpm? do you have stock exhaust? Ive got the V&H full system so i cant wait!
I've got the stock exhaust. Its a much louder sounding engine and its all on the intake side. Its very deep growl once you go about 1/4 throttle and the growl goes all they way thru the revs.
After I got my K&N and Yosh full system my friend who has an F4i said my bike sounded "angry".
