$99,999.99  :icon_mrgreen:

I just playing with you, I have a set but am not sure if I want to part with them yet. They are in really good shape, I was hoping maybe like the $160 range. I know I paid $100 for them 2 years ago and they where in shitty shape with no bars

What do they normally go for?  $160 sounds kinda high.

I was hoping they could be had for less than clubman bars.  I like the look of the 89's better than the clubmans.

You can get Bikemaster clubman bars for like 30 bucks

I bought my top plate and clip ons from dubkeith for $70. A very reasonable price, and they were in great condition.

I would gladly pay that price for a set.

I have a set, but the bars are custom bent to clear the tank on an '01+ bike, so you'd need to get new bars cut (7/8" stock, available at any home improvement store). Not sure I want to part with em, but I've been contemplating a set of real clipons.. hmm... if I decide anytime soon, I'll PM you..

I'll sell mine for 100 shipped ... OK I have to find them first ... but I went to katana ... Whooo hooo ...
Or I'll sell you straight tubes for 20 ... to go with NGFL's ... You have to have a notch ground in the end for the bolts to go through ... so 7/8 tubing and that ...
Cool.
Srinath.

BTW ... mine are powdercoated shiny black. Do the dash top plate as well and the bike just looks killer. Paint is OK too for the top plate ... if that's all you're doing ...
Cool.

My bike has an '01 tank, so those would be perfect.  Let me know if you want to part with them.

Srinath,
Let me know whey you find them and I will buy them from you if NGFL decides to keep his.

I believe I made the bent bars NGFL has ... work great for you ... 1/8th wall.
I can find it easy though ...
Cool.

I guess I will wait for NGFL to chime in to see if he wants to sell.  But if not, I'll buy yours.

Thanks, Charles

No reply so far from NGFL.

Srinath, Do you still want to sell yours?

Sorry, been contemplating. While I'd love to sell them to you, I can't afford new clipons right now, so I'd be without bars, which I can't do, since my bike is my only transportation.

OK you clowno NGFL ...
Now, the handles need to be banana'ed for perfect fit on a 01+ ... yup, That's a word ...
Back in the 80's India was called a banana republic cos our prime minister was used to saying "Hamme Banana hai" meaning "we will do it" in hindi ...
I dont believe I can do it just yet. I prefer to start with nice new 7/8th tubing for that ... and I dont have it yet.
You can install it and slip a pipe over it and bend it ... remember it is a 2 man job ... 1 to hold the bike, another to bend ...
Just a few degrees will do it ... If you can, I'd selll you for say $90 shipped. No grommets ... reuse yours (I am the worlds largest consumer of grommets ... just ask average) ... all the rest is included ... bolts, bars, top plate and the 2 posts ... OK no bolts that go through top plate either. Use yours again.
Cool.
Srinath.
