Post by: Nikolas on June 14, 2007, 04:14:45 PM
I need 125 mains and 40 pilots.  I know someone out there ordered a set from one of those must buy 4 or each places...

That's a bit too big since my bike is stock except for a uni drop in.  I finally found a place that has both the pilots and mains in stock and won't make me order a bunch of them so I went that route.

why didn't you just go to the dealer and buy them?

They're overpriced.

$4~5 a piece is over priced?  Hell man I wanna shop where ever you found them for less, shipped.

I ordered mine here:

http://www.carbparts.com/

No idea how much they cost at the dealer, but no dealer's around me had them in stock and it would take several days to get them. The carb parts place was up in cleveland (2 hours away) and said they'd UPS the same day, which meant I could get the jets the next day. Price wise it ended up being $27 for 4 jets (2 pilots, 2 mains) which included something like $8 shipping. They don't make you buy in groups of 4. I have no idea if that pricing is good or not, like I said the main reason I got them there was that they were nearly local and could have them to me the next day, whereas every other place that sells jets is out on the west coast.

debtman, that's less than $5 a jet...that's pretty much the going rate.
