Strictly for Firefly/Serenity fans (am I the only one here?):
One of these young ladies looks a LOT like Summer Glau. In some of the shots it's spooky. Or maybe she was slumming in Silver Spring MD? Or maybe it's just me.

For lots more (say, if you wanted to see more Suzuki bikes instead ;)) go to http://www.cyclesusa.com/ and click on the picture at the top right, I can't seem to deep-link to that page.

Which one? I don't see anything close to a resemblance.
i'm not sure what your talking about, but I approve of this thread :thumb:
I can see it a little. But she's not as hot.
Oh - and why not tell your fellow GSers (ok fellow GS Boarders for me now) about this .. I would have ridden up from NoVa
Uhhh ... just saw the date stamp on some of these so nevermind ... 8/19/06

Might be just me. I had an unusual childhood in some respects, and one of the effects I've learned to recognize is that my facial-recognition "software" often works differently than others'.
I only spotted the photos yesterday. I have tried several times to get "in the loop" there, tried to open up a line of communication for possible future negotiations on my next bike, but the salesmen just do NOT do e-mail. They want to talk on the phone, and I seldom bother. I suspect a new bike might be cheaper further out, but I could be wrong... parts are more expensive.

I think the pix of her leaning on the bike are closer. What struck me is that she smiles .. or at least looks happy - that's what is different than River :)
"plus, I can kill you with my brain"
Summer seems to smile a lot. River doesn't. And she isn't always made up for the red carpet:

... but again, its' probably just me.
I have trouble thinking of her as "hot", probably the age difference, when introduced on Firefly she just seemed like a gawky teen, with very few "adult" signals. She's getting over it, though:

holy crap, that 2nd picture makes me want to propose to her!

Well .. when she was on The Unit throwing herself at Mack ... :thumb:
Plus, since I'm 30, she's not
that much younger than me. My wife is almost the same amount older so it's all good
What's that second pic from anyway?
I can't post girliee pics.I'll be prosecuted and kick off of here.

Just a "cast" pic, Ladies of Firefly... I think it was pretty early, actually.

You guys like that one, huh? There's my personal copy, at "somewhat" higher rez... can't find it to hotlink to it any more, so you're in luck...

Whoops. Seems photobucket automatically reduced the size..., that's still not the original...
I can't help it, "leg men" are born, not made....
the mechanic is the hottest, can't for the life of me remember either name.....
jewel staite... kayleigh
she is, indeed, amazing... but morena baccarin wins hands down...
I have the same "Facial Recognition Software" installed in my head... I can see the resemblance.... :thumb:
It's pretty funny when my wife and I watch a movie... I can recognize faces and voices, but I can't remember names... She can remember names but doesn't recognize faces and voices as well... So, I say, "Oh... It's that one guy from this movie and that movie..." Then she says, "So-and-so?" "YEAH! That guy!"

Personally, *I* don't think that's so cut-and-dry...
Jewel is capable of looking pretty amazing. Where they tried their best to make Morena look glamorous in the series, they tried to go the other way with Jewel... Joss actually had her gain weight for the role.

At first I thought, "None of them look like her", then I saw the second picture.
Kayleigh is hot, Morena is just a pretty face, but I wouldn't kick her out of bed.
Dude.... All of them are hot in one way or another...
You're right.
Women are like rowboats, you turn them upside down and it all looks the same.
Now, that's simply not true...
Two words: Rosie O'Donnell
PUKE!
I said rowboats...not barges.
wrecent.. I started as a kayleigh fan, then switched to enara (how the hell do you spell that?)... now I'm back.. way to go with those pics!

Glad you enjoyed it.
It's "Inara". And, for that matter, it's "Kaylee".
I loved the series. Spaceships, babes, guns, rebellion against authority, guns, space hookers, mercenaries and pirates, guns, new frontiers, space cannibals, good writing, obscure "Buffy" references, real humor, guns, babes... TV is not capable of much better than this...
So they canceled it. Does that seem right to you? I'm thinking, not so much...
Shiny.
bahaha.. shiny.. I'm so pissed they canceled it.. I've watched the DVD set about.... 5 or 6 times.. and seen Serenity about 5 times... and I hear tell of a Firefly MMORPG.. even though I kinda hate MMORPGs, I'll play it. I loved the humor, the guns, the babes, the guns, the babes, the humor, the shiny stuff.... never caught buffy references, cuz I've never seen buffy... Seems like every show I like gets canceled.. hell, Seaquest had a longer run than Firefly did.. and while I'm a Seaquest nerd, it doesn't hold a candle to firefly.. and the women weren't NEARLY as hot!
The Mechanic is my fave too ... I cant stand that stupid ass "companian" WTF ... its the shittiest concept in that series ...
Cool.
Srinath.
who are these people? :dunno_white:
FLAVEN

Nah, it's not an obsession, it was just the best writing on TV, briefly. Miss the series, but it's not like the Trekkie crowd obsessing over what brand of underwear Nimoy was wearing in which episode...
Actually, that was one of the things about Firefly... it made Star Trek, Star Wars and a bunch of others just look sort of... silly.
I forgot about this; put it on months ago, nobody ever commented or asked about it. Of course, gray-on-black, it doesn't jump out, you pretty much have to be right on top of it to notice it..

That's awesome

the girl on the right imho has a very beautiful smile :kiss3:
I love that no Reavers picture. Did you paint that on yourself? Heh, that actually just gave me the idea to turn my bike into a Reaver-bike. It's already black and a bit banged up...
Also, to everyone arguing about the girls, Kaylee wins, hands down.

Nope... it's one of those vinyl transfer-decals, intended for car windows.
It was being offered by a vendor on e-bay, but when they started the latest IP ("Intellectual Property" or "Idiot Powergrab) crackdown after the Serenity movie they dropped them from the product line (even though the word "reaver" could not be copyrighted, trademarked or patented- this all works by intimidation, of course), and I rather suspect they hope nobody remembers.
