so I was about to leave work last night, I was standing beside my bike and gearing up when one of my new coworkers comes outside to talk to me.
** When people ask what kind of bike I have, I say a Suzuki 1000 b/c most people don't know what an SV is. They just wanna know if it's a GIXXER or a NINJA... *sigh..
coworker: hey tyler nice bike!
me: thanks dude
coworker: is that a gixxer?
me: no, it's a 1000cc suzuki v-twin
coworker: umm, cool. My dream bike is the Hibachi!
me: the.. hibachi?!? I've never heard of that one..
coworker: yeah the one that Ben Roethlisberger wrecked.
me: oh you mean the Hayabusa?
coworker: umm yeah, that's the one, my dream bike. Well see ya later!
hahaha that's funny!!
Dead inside of 2 weeks if he ever gets one :o People can be idiots. I had a coworker try to tell me his buddy had a hayabusa 1100 :flipoff: I tried tellin him that the busa only comes in 1300 but he was adament....... douchebag :flipoff:
My Cuz said he was going to get a Busa, as his first bike. I think I have him talked into a SV650, he's a good 350ish the GS wouldn't like that to much.
f%$k he almost weighs as much as the poor GS...... a 650 should be OK.....he'd still break his damn neck on a busa :o
most people would break their necks on a busa :icon_lol: those bikes are pretty crazy even for experienced riders!

Seriously???? :dunno_white:
I got Pretty Excited the Other Day saw a Pretty Nice looking Gal Pass me on a Lowered Busa.I couldn't see Her Face since she was Wearing a Helmet but thats all. :icon_confused: Only Had a Tank top on with Her Boobies Flying in the Breeze. :thumb: I followed Her for a few Miles but Gave up when I realized I was Late for Work. :icon_rolleyes:
I went to gainesville today and saw this gorgeous blonde on an R-1. She didn't have a helmet on or anything
Anyone who rides a bike w/out a lid is an organ donor. And seriously there's not much I haven't ridden, that Busa won't hurt you as fast as a pitbike will. Your throttle is controlled by a wrist, that wrist is controlled by a brain. Anyone who can ride can ride a Busa it's just a big motor. If you don't have enough self control to ride a busa you shouldn't be on moped either.
It was just sad because she was seriously hot   and had to be moderately intelligent, the bike had a UF parking sticker :dunno_white:
Throttle control is all in your wrist but some are less forgiving. I didn't have a problem on the cbr600rr when I test rode it, until I went to pass someone and forgot it wasn't the GS. That Buddha Loves You jumped like a scared cat that had been lit on fire :icon_twisted: :icon_twisted:
Really I don't wear a Helmet Constantly.Usually If I'm Taking it down the Road I won't wear one.I live on a Dead End Back road with No Traffic Except for 1 Neighbor,UPS and the mailman. I'm not saying Something Won't Happen but Since I've only got 15 Miles on my T500 for Jetting I haven't Even Gotten out of 3rd Yet. If I do get on the Highway or out Dirtbiking I always Wear a Helmet. :thumb:

:icon_rolleyes: The 600 is a nice bike but the amount of power it generates when flogged is not all that awe inspiring, it is faster and smoother than a GS but that's what I am talking about even on the GS I didn't flog it, smooth riding beats hammer down everytime. Now go try that on a 50 or 90cc pit bike and see what happens you'll be back in a cast in no time.
I didn't flogg it. I dropped down a gear and laid into the throttle. It makes the GS seem like a retard taking the GRE :o :o
Ok we must have a differenace of definitions because that is flogging. And like I said yes it's faster and smoother but trust me its still very docile on the 600rr. HP is not the number you care about. HP just keeps you there torque is the number your looking at that determines what's going to happen when you hit the gas.
I never geared down and "laid into" the throttle on the GS or any other bike I have ridden in many many many years. A RZ350 will cure you of that problem. Yes I gear down to pass but when I am done shifting down the only thing that has chnged on my bike is the rpm's then I smoothly feed it throttle to accelerate and execute a pass.
I call flogging bouncing it off the rev limiter incessantly. I never touched it. And when I say laid into I mean smoothly increased :thumb: :thumb: I know a 600rr doesn't compare to some of the wheels out there. I was just using it as a reference point because other than the GS it's the only thing I've ridden recently.
