Title: Front sprocket cover
Post by: bargovic on June 15, 2007, 01:26:32 PM
I just put a 15t sprocket on my GS.  Anyone know the torque spec for the bolts on the sprocket cover?

BTW, the 15t is nice.  Adds a noticeable amount of torque which makes corners more fun.  The top end speed seems the same for me (145lb rider), and rpms are only ~500 more.

It's pretty low...  Something like ~10 lbs or something...  My Torque wrench isn't accurate that low, so I just went to "Snug" and called it good.

Sung them down don't use any strength to tighten them, the bolts will break easily. If you don't have lock washers use 1 drop of blue loctite.SMALL DROP!
