Dead battery.  You probably turned the key past the "lock" position to the "park" position and drained the battery with the parking lights.  Find a battery charger with a 12V 5A rate and charge it for at least 8 hours.  That should solve your problem.

Using a voltmeter on the battery, what's the voltage?

Does the battery have fluid at the proper levels?

Was the battery charged before it was installed?

I'd check the alternator/magneto for proper charging also.  You can do a basic check by checking the voltage at the battery with the engine on and revving around 5k rpm.  You should see 14-15V or so if the alternator is working.  I wouldn't say that this is a bullet proof test, but if it looks good, then the alternator is unlikely to be bad.

i had a similar problem a couple days after i got my bike, all of a sudden it lost all power but the battery was full, it hardly ran after it was push started the lights would dim as soon as u roll on the throttle and the bike would want to stall. it turns out the connection where the positive lead from the battery goes to, i forget what it was called, came loose and disconnected- factory forgot to crimp it according to the dealership.
