Title: bike still wont start
Post by: Dorianfes on June 16, 2007, 10:43:11 AM
Ok, so a couple of weeks ago i couldn't get the bike to start, couldn't even get the lights to turn on.  Well, now the lights turn on after i have it on for awhile which doesn't make any sense to me.  But i still can't get the bike started.  I'm thinking of hooking the bat. up to a car (while the car is turned off)  and seein' if i can jump start the sucker.  I checked the fuses i could get too, and they all seem fine.  any other suggestions??

thanks,
Dorian

Switch the Fuses Anyway.Sometimes they Build up enough Resistance without Blowing to Keep the Power from Going thru. :thumb:

yeah swap the fuses... they don't cost much and atleast you can rule that out. Also my buddy has a KZ700 that we recently rebuilt. For some reason after we rebuilt it the thing it wouldn't start unless it was hooked to a car battery WITH the car running. It was wierd but it was also leaking at the head gasket so I dunno.
