Title: jet question (sorry)
Post by: mach1 on June 16, 2007, 06:56:01 PM
so I took my exhaust apart and the can is a straight through can. my uni pods flow abotu as much as the K&N pods. I have a 22.5 pilot and will get a 65 mid but still unsure of the mains Im going to get two sizes and see what works best without having to shim the needle but will do it if needed. should I go with a 145 and 147.5 or a 147.5 and a 150. Im going for a tad bit rich but not too much. any ideas?

My setup is in the sig and various other places, but I'm still playing with it. I doubt if yours will flow much better than mine, and I found 150 to be too rich. In your position, I'd get the 145 and 147.5.

Uni pods are 1 size below K&N pods.
I'd try 145's on that.
Cool.

I knew the pods flew abotu the same but not sure which one was more. ok I went ahead and ordered the 145 and 147.5s from bikebandit. Hey Wrecent_Wryder does your ignition advancer do anything for your mixture?

An ignition advancer does exactly what the name implies: It moves the point at which ignition occurs forward in the cycle.  It has absolutely nothing to do with mixture
