Title: Removing rust on the upper part of the forks?

What do you all recommend for removing spots of rust on the exposed metal parts of the frame / upper forks and stem?

aluminium foil, just get a small piece and gently rub the surface then polish with metal polish  :thumb: :cheers:

Nevr-dul, to leech out the rust from under paint and chrome.  Doesn't scratch.

Too late for that for me.  its pitted somewhere on the inner fork and not holding my 2 month old 15w fork oil  :mad:
