Post by: joefromsf on June 20, 2007, 09:10:34 PM

  o       Cobra F1-S slip-on exhaust
o       Progressive front fork springs with new fork oil and seals
  o       Katana rear shock
  o     Suzuki gel seat
  o       UNI foam filter
•   Replacements
  o     Battery – March 2006
  o     Bridgestone BT45 tires – 4000 miles
  o     Front rotor
  o     Brake pads
  o     Fuel hoses

•   Problems
o     Turn signal indicator bulb out
o     Compression at low end of specs
o     Fuel delivery often requires switching to reserve (known problem)
o     Carbs not sorted out to my liking
       Idle goes up when engine is hot
       Blipping the throttle in neutral, revs are slow coming down
       Hesitation pulling away at stops
o     Clicking in engine when accelerating
•   Body and paint
o     Good for age (some scratches, no dents)
  o     Never crashed
o     Low speed drop (left side)

Located in San Francisco.  Must have MC license and cash to test ride.  I think I have priced it so that its a steal for someone who can sort out the carbs. Selling because my wife has moved on to another bike (BMW F650) and I don't have the time or passion to work on it any any longer. Its rideable in its current condition, starts right up and has no problem getting up to 90. I just feel it can be better.
