What glue do I need to get the "Suzuki emblem back on the engine?"
I accidentally scrubbed the stuff that's already there.. : (
Gorilla glue is awesome. Krazy glue would work well. The original emblem actually isn't glued. It's a sticker. Doublesided tape (3M) You can get that easy. It may be the best option.

I used some kind of no-name Wal-Mart superglue. It's been holding it for over a year.
But if you super glue it, you won't be able to remove it, and isn't that plate suppose to be removable?
If it's the one on the right, the entire cover still comes off with the bolts, so super glue should work.
If you want to glue it permanently, your best bet is an epoxy. Super Glues are good, but they have a relatively short shelf life (6-7 months) before they start degrading, and there's a lot of old stuff sitting on shelves. Gorilla Glue will certainly hold, but polyurethanes foam when curing, which can make the job look like he!! if you aren't careful.
You can buy the whole cover new w/ the tape on it for like $10 :thumb:
I just made aluminum covers for mine becuase my right side was broken. I used Quik Steel from wally world it's holding

Thats what I did. After you drop it on one side a few times you start wearing holes in those covers
I used a high temp epoxy on the cover I bought from Chuck81. It will take a slide for it to come off.
+1 more for High-Temp Epoxy. Ya can't beat a chemical reaction to make a bond.
I've given up on Crazy Glue -- more likely to stick skin together than anything else. I do believe it works, but only in the proper conditions. I'm a Resin & Hardener guy now... :thumb:
i just had to replace my hole casing on that side because i sheered it off in my crash. the oem suzuki emblem that came with it had 3m tape on the back...thats it. so it is no wonder it came off.
now i have a rat bike with a shinny new part on it. i am going to have to smash it on the ground a few times so it looks like the rest of the bike :thumb:
