what kinda can are you running? If you are runnign stock can with luchbox then go with a 142.5 main 65 mid and 22.5 pilot no shimms under the needle. That is what aplha had he said it worked good. as far as which jets is which check this site out http://www.dynojet.com/pdf/3156.pdf the mid is the round jet that is just above the main in the picture and they are the same type but to find out which is whic look at the jet and it will say the size on it. Hope this helps :thumb:

Are you useing a dynojet kit or did you just buy the jets?  As far as the loose hose I got a small filter from Autozone and attached it.

3 Jets on a 2001+ GS500. Tallest is Main Jet, middle height is Mid-jet, Bottom is Pilot Jet

Pilot jet is the bottom one.

Breather for the hose I just got a simple one from auto zone they have them from $2.00 to $15.00.  I got the $2.00 one.

You see that screw right below the hose on the far right?  Thats it.  I will have a brass cover you have to drill out.

I run in a drywall or sheet metal screw to be able to pry up to remove the plug. 3-4 threads is all you need. I do not like drilling since if you drill too deep you will hit the screw. The screw in the pic looks like it was hit lightly with a drill bit.

your set up is fine, I'm sure, just turn your screw out to about 3.

Once you are to that point, then you can diagnose
