OK so i got my bike back from the dealership (first service) and it was around 380$ CAN. I am wondering if i can do what they did to save that money the next time...? :2guns:
Yes. You can do much of it. Buy a Haynes manual.

Plenty of people here do their own valves... I have not been brave enough (yet). People say it's easy, and it looks somewhat easy(I guess) based on Kerry's video... I guess it just depends how comfortable you are working with engine internals.
If you just got your bike back from your first service... not sure why you would want to go anywhere near the valves...
Its really easy and I can check/adjust then myself with an allen wrench, feeler guages, a rachet set that could have come from walmart, a screwdriver and a handy set of plyers for hose clamps, in about 45 minutes. Check the wiki and watch the video, its really not hard if you want to save several hundred dollars.
