Title: Anybody remember the stink that the oil companies made
Post by: Egaeus on June 29, 2007, 09:43:20 PM
when the new US low-sulfur diesel standards were introduced?  Now they're running commercials for LSD and how they're keeping the environment cleaner like it was their own idea all along.  The commercial sends you to http://www.energytomorrow.org/.  What a bunch of disingenuous douchebags.

True dat!
Doesn't LSD make older diesels run poorly?

Not that I've heard.  I've heard that they belch out less smoke, but that's about it.  I don't know how sulfur would affect the ignition process.

I know that the old diesel couldn't be used in the newer engines.  That may be what you're thinking about.
