Title: Return of the Roosterbike
Post by: roosterbike on June 30, 2007, 04:56:25 PM
Hi everyone, I know some of you were waiting ever so patiently for the out come of my oil leak, dealer woes and where Ive been.
Ok heres the last couple of weeks. Boss and I got into it, I thought I was having a heart attack, spent the night in the hospital, new job (2nd shift, less hours and alot less pay), moved into new house, got new job, picked up GS from dealer.
The leak was a oil passage/head bolt oring that was actually missing. Between that and Ashevilles dealer being jerks, Suzuki not only covered my bill, but gave me alot of goodies. They paid for my sproket to be changed(down a tooth), gave some free shirts and stickers, and will be paying for my 4000 mile service. They have had alot of complaints on that dealer and might be pulling the plug on them.
As far as it goes the 15 tooth sproket is awsome. I can tell a big difference when I open the throttle up.
And as for my heart, 2 blockages, so Ill be be back in the hospital, but not just yet,  YA CANT KILL THE ROOSTER :thumb:

Yeah, there gonna put in a couple stints in my veins near my heart to improve the flow. Kinda like the GS is puttin ME in the shop to get a jet kit, wonder if Ill get a stage 2 or 3. But I hope this says something about health to us all! Im only about to be 32 o the 27th, and already heart problems. Please everyone watch your diet, keep a check on stress, exercise, and ride the crap outta your GS

Glad to hear they found the blockages and are getting the stints in.
Too many people ignore warning signs and just keep going only to have things happen "too late" after that.
Chin up, sticky down, ride well!
