'spose I was luck to do it that way around.
Those are BEAUTIFUL pictures.
Thanks for sharing them.
Looks like you had a really nice ride. (Besides the rain of course.)
How many miles or km was that?
Also, Is that a little fairing on the bike in front of the gas tank and slightly below?
Gorgeous bike too!
Nice pics Cal, looks like it was a great trip. :thumb:
That looks sooo Much Fun ? How much did u spend on petrol that trip?
Because I cheated and ferried back from Bilbao to Portsmouth it was only 1282 miles, I bought 95.9 l of fuel at prices slightly less than UK but probably about a third of U.S.. Last year i did almost double that mileage to Prague but that was very easy riding in good weather mainly on Autobahns, this was crap weather 95% on minor roads but very satisfying and rewarding riding. For me Normandy, flat and marshy was quite like nearby countryside on Romney and Walland marshes, the French atlantic coast with miles of pine trees right up to the sea was a bit different and the Pyreneese and the ear-popping was indeed something else.
Errr and the food, did I mention the food....wow!
Sounds great :thumb: ive got to wait one more year to drive abroad . but when that comes :D
