I got run off the road yesterday about 2 blocks from my house. Residential street - going about 30. Saw a jeep coming to an intersection from my left. I slowed down then I saw him braking for his stop sign. Still watching him though. Glad I did cause he totally ran the stop sign and I had to go into a driveway to avoid getting hit. That's not why I am pissed - I am getting used to not being seen and I had an exit planned out. I am pissed because as he was driving away I saw 2 stickers on his jeep. He was an EMT AND he had a "watch for motorcycles" bumper sticker. He was a rider!!!!
Kudos for having your "out" planned! I always have my out planned. You never know what crazy asshats are going to do! :2guns:
I wish I had a buck for every moron who blows a stop sign and pulls in front of me! I cover the brake at every intersection!
I try to keep an out planned at intersections and other dangerous areas.Some people who ride never have the joy of an almost or near miss.I ALWAYS slow down in blind intersections when you can't see up the crossing lanes.I have sat at intersections and green lights to make sure a late braker is going to stop.Saved my fat ass many times.Most people don't look or slow down when they turn into the close lane at a light or intersection.Speeding all the way.I use other vehicles as a shield some times also.
Get used to it. People are douchebags :thumb: :thumb:
