any one ever tried one of these on a gs. also what is the difference between the 04 and the 02 when it comes to installing

There's no G-pack for our bikes...we don't have computers or rev-limiters.  Don't waste your money.  Spend it on a rejet, filter, exhaust, and/or sprockets.

It may just alter the timing a little bit, similar to slotting the signal generator rotor pick-up plate to alter the timing.

The 04+ have different signal generators and ignition modules than 89-02/03.

These type products can do more on FI bikes but still are way over priced for a couple of resistors.
