I use McGuirs Gold Class Clear Coat wax.

but sounds like you'll need a cut back type polish.

I use eagle1 wax as you dry.If you tank is oxidised or scratched try turtle wax light compound and then thier micro polish.I dunno if they still call them light compound and micro polish.Been a while since I had to use it.Hope this helps.

its not scratched or anything. if anyone has owned a black car they know what i'm talking about, its little thin swirls that you cant really see on other colors.
would something like this work?

AHHHH YES!I had a truck painted croma black, and that happened not long after it was painted.I took it back, they wet sanded it with 1200 git paper, and buffed it back out.Looked like a mirror after that.
