Post by: Bobbleboy on July 03, 2007, 06:43:28 PM
Tip air filter housing

Took me 30 min, to connect the air filter housing, first time to the carburators

last ten times or more  :2guns:, remove the air filter, put hour hand inside the air filter housing, use one finger to push the rubber out, almost draw a circle , with your finger against the carburator, takes 1 min that way.

Had a problem, every time the bike was on choke, one cylinder was acting up, knocking loud, at least a year, i had this problem, couldnt find the problem, then by luck yesterday, i saw that there is a hole in the side of the float assembly, and sure enough, it was blockt, made my day, hate those carbs now

also helps if you lube the rubber boots with a little motor or vegetable oil
