Title: Happy 4th of July. Not political :)
Post by: bettingpython on July 04, 2007, 07:25:18 AM
Happy 4th to everyone, if your riding please be careful out there and have fun. Have a safe holiday.
Before going out and blowing up lots of fireworks to celebrate our nations 231st birthday I would like to thank everyone who currently is serving, or has served, in our military.
Thank you to the Men and Women of our armed forces.

All youse retards remember dont hold the fireworks or you'll blow your fingers off

Do it all the time anytime your coming up from Weathorford gimme a call. Only reason I am not out today is my holiday with my son.

Tulsa to Jay isn't bad running through Salina and Spavinaw. I usually like to boogey on into Missourai ands Arkansas and make a day of it.

I'll work on a route to get up there sometime.  Riding is pretty boring here unless I go far away   The turnpike to Tulsa is boring, but going back roads would take half a day or more.  Hmmmm....  Sounds like a road trip sometime.  The roads in NW Arkansas look like fun.  Have you ridden farther south (Talihina scenic drive, etc.)?

NW arkansas and southern missouri have some awesome roads. We have a spare bedroom make a weekend of it come up on a friday and ride saturday then head home on a sunday. Tahlimena is nice as well we were supposed to go this spring but we had to cancel out on an overnite ride down there and over to Mena AR. My grandmother passed away during that time and it was a dark time for me so getting out around many people and riding was not the best thing for me to do in the state of mind I was in.

If you have never ridden Ark. you'll be amazed many of their roads use a much higher asphalt grade than oklahoma, one friend who works as an engineer was telling me that there civil engineers over there specify a track grade asphalt for paving projects it is unbelievably nice compared to what we are used to here.
