Title: 1992 Seca 2 for sale.
Post by: The Buddha on July 07, 2007, 07:05:17 PM
This is the last of my sport bikes. Its running well and needs the last round of paint on the tank - a day or 2.
6K mile bike, 7K miles on motor and comes with a spare motor with a bad starter clutch (not as easy to swap as a GS BTW)
Registered, titled in and terrorising the streets of charlotte NC.
Oh yea ... no flat spot in power, not need to rev to the moon ... just buttery smooth from 2K or less rpm (who knows, never tried to run it below 2K)
Asking 1800.
Cool.
Srinath.

Delivery will cost ya if its over say 50 or so miles ... pretty much a quarter per around trip mile ...
MPG - no clue, but its stock with 1 size bumped pilots ... so figure ~stock minus 1-3. Hey, I want them to run right and run cool dont give a crap about gas mileage.
BTW spare motor included ...
Cool.

Its officially for sale now.
Yea yea yea tank paint has runs in it, some scratches are visible through the paint and its waaaaay too glossy compared to the rest ... but ... OK atleast all the plastics are 90% intact and mostly decent. Paint - sure ... blame the paint.
Tank is coated inside and its been jetted with 20 pilots (1 size larger) else its all stock.
6500 miles on bike, 7200 on motor, and spare motor with 6300 miles (edit - was 6500)  included <- tricky bit of math there ...  :thumb: .
The lot for 2K. OK if you dont argue with me or ... ask for a "road bike"  ... $1800.
Charlotte is the location.
Cool.

It runs surprisingly well. I wouldn't think it would have been better than a Bandit 600 but its awfully close, and it handles a lot better and ironically I believe its easier to work on ... heck its easier than a GS. That 2 stage petcock and funky airbox mechanism on a GS ... POS.
Cool.
