I hit up a guy in Lubbock for some parts...turns out he's a bike fanatic (gonna try and get pics to show off haha) and he's tired of driving 400 miles just to go to a track. "I'm not a racer," he says, "I'm not a speed freak. I just want to play around on occasion without having to worry about police or hurting anyone."
...who here can't relate?
At any rate, the guy has higher up friends, includinig a local judge aand some other legal beagles, and they're going to try and basically "lease" Reece's facility for a weekend. We're looking at maybe being able to set up a 2 mile, tight course, but it's mostly going to be running around bales and cones (dandy by me). Big thing is that we'll have to have paramedics on hand while we run, which is going to run $1500~2000. HE thinks he's got 15 people who would show and split the cost...before he found me. I know Cuda wouldn't mind hitting it up to run his GTR around some cones and I'd absolutely love to run around on my CX. I've got two or three other people interested, as well, but no one else has given a definite thumbs up. I think getting 20~25 or even more people out would be pretty simple.
So, anyone else want to run out to Lubbock later this summer? I'll get Kalee to break out the grill. Let me tell you...she's a badass with a grill. It's a stand back and let the woman work situation.
side note...Cuda, know of anyone who rides a red EX and wears dark textile gear (think text, was a couple hundred yds ahead of me)? He was out on Cemetary/Washington like you're heading out to the Canyon around 130 today...where the squiggly valley is. He rides waaaaaaaayyyyyy crossed up...
..on a side note when I went to pick up my parts this guy had a Honda GB500 Clubmann Tourist Trophy in the back of his jewelry store with like 3000 miles on it...I nearly jizzed all over myself...
