well i cured my boredom at least temporarily.
i tore my tach and speedo off cuz i needed a new light for my tach..
WHile i was at that i decided to tear the speedo apart and clean the weird condensation off the inside of hte glass

that killed an hour or so.

now i'm gonna go play videogames..

Great idea.  Now, to mount an entertainment unit with a flip up screen just behind my fairing so I can watch will I ride. But, where can I mount the dish?

We've had some really stupid weather here in California.  More to follow.

I cured my boredom by getting another project bike.  I plan on welding my two bikes together so I CAN, ride both bikes at the same time....  I'll show my wife.

have fun, jake.  i'm miserable like you, too.  except that i'm not married to the girl...which makes the "pack your shiznit" line much easier to drop.  and, oh yes, it's been dropped.

i'm not necessarily miserable cuz of  my wife, that's just the way it was last night...10 years together and you get those days once in awhile...

mainly i was miserable cuz it never seems to stop raining in pittsburgh.  I've only put about 1500 miles on my bike this summer due to rain and my 3.5 week long tire saga.  Most of my miles have been the 15 mile round trip to and from work each day.  there is one stretc of curves that is my sole reason for existence these days.

not to rant too much...  although it does kill me when i see all you CA guys planning rides every weekend.  damn i'm jealous

If you haven't put them back together again how about taking a few digital pics of the steps involved in re(dis)assembly?

sorry but i didn't see yer post until after i put everythign together. Never fear though I may be doing it again for the tach.. There is a website that i got i think from pablo's website that shows it.

I am going to be doing front brakes sometime soon, would you want some pics and descriptions of that?

how careful do you have to be when you take all that stuff apart? mine has a digital speedo, but the tachometer is still analog, but it's white, with an orange needle, i really think it should be black, with a white needle, to match the fact that my entire bike is black,

i'd have to find a black one somewhere, someone probably makes one, it's a speed four, so i could also just look for a tt600 one too, acctaully all the triumph use the same exact speedo/tacho setup, but i'm sure the rpms/redlines are all different aside from the tt600, but i definately wanna look into that,
