Title: Jamming fuel cap.
Post by: bosozoku on July 11, 2007, 03:53:55 PM
My fuel cap kept jamming until I removed a "plate" at the bottom of the mechanism that seemed to restrict the movement of the two sliding lock pins.  Also, a small ball and cap fell out.  It seems like it should work w/o those parts, but will it fall apart and jam completely closed?  I wish that this was just a normal screw cap without any silly locking mechanisms.

If you can tame my rabid African mamba, you're welcome to it.  Otherwise, I wouldn't suggest it...   :flipoff:
