Post by: Crucialval on July 11, 2007, 11:17:50 PM
Or else you would role it off a cliff :o

I just got all my customs stuff done and I'm getting ready to ride to work tomarrow. I go to test ride and the starter clutch is gone. It missed a few time this year but always cuaght on after the secend try. Now it just spins and it being thursday I will most likely miss a nother weekend. Screw it I'll push start it

Friend of mine runs an EX250 that's cut out to 330cc and has a lightened crank and fly...to do it almost all of the "teeth" width was shaved off.  he ditched the starter all together and push starts going everywhere.  Crazy fast little bike but he still needs a head start haha

Shame there's no kickstart on the GS-series anymore.  An electric start on anything under 500cc is stupid anyway.

Wouldn't it be great if they were solid state, too?

I would be great if I didn't have to work on it all the time. I mean fix it, I just put a clutch in it two weeks ago, clucth cable last week, now the starter clutch is giving me hell. Thats just the repair list, I thought with all this tender rubbing I've been giving her she act right for a wail.

I Just did the jets, Lunchbox, Remus can, custom under tail, tag mount, turn sig mount, and brake light mount. I got the old E cowlings coming for her to, what more does she want. All I have left is some suspension work and I'll have ran out of things to do to keep her happy. May be she wants to be a different color. :dunno_white:

This bike is like a woman, she always wants me touching her.
