Title: Custom Fairings?
Post by: cerius on July 12, 2007, 12:32:31 PM
Ok I had thought of idea that I wanted custom fairings but couldn't find a damn thing online. I did manage to find how to make your own fiberglass material though.  Would this be a good material for fairings? I would asume so seeing how boats are made out of it. Just wanting to hear peoples thoughts about this idea. I might try something out this summer or something is it turns out to be something of an idea and i have the money.

Fiberglass is an awesome material for a fairing.  I have a fiberglass airtech fairing and I crashed on it twice.  Very easy to fix.

If you just read a book on how to make stuff out of fiberglass, I would NOT try to make a fairing your first time out.

Dremel and some hot topic earrings lmao I was looking at some trip pants chains and thought mm I could soo add these to my bike somewhere, then though safety would be kinda hard on that one seeing how it chains and all. I will find something for them though
