I built this for my old XS...thought I'd run it on my CX but it just doesn't flo with the big cushy seat and having all my battery and electronics hidden back there. DOT approved lenses, grounds through framework so you'll have to mount it directly to your frame or run a jumper wire (that's what I was doing...jumper wire). It's visible from beyond 300ft and the stop/run lights are easily distiniguishable from that distance. You'll have to fabricate a little hanger for the plate (stop light hasa a plate light built in)...tinkering around with things the stock CX500D license plate frame works.
