...taking apart my laptop and putting it back together.
DAMN.
Anyway... I needed to see what was wrong 'cause the cooling fan wasn't turning, so the laptop would overheat if i didn't plug in my cooling fan base. Then the damn thing would shut off and I'd loose all my work (or porn I was downloading.)
Here's what I found:

:o :o :o
That was stuck inside the fan itself. GOOD GRAVY!!!
Then after I put the thing back together, I had a little bit of a scare... the laptop wouldn't turn on. :dunno_white:
I thought I fried something, but then I remembered my training and I took out the memory, put it back in, and everything works fine now.
*PHEW*
Is that sheep wool? Is that how you get your 10 cents back? Stick them in a fan and use it for the next one?! :o
Oops. I didnt' realize that you'd think the dime was in there too...
I only found the lint-thingy... The dime was for size reference.
And no... I only like white-wooled sheep.
So you're a sheep racist :o :flipoff:
pretty much.
UPDATE:
I've been playing a DVD on the laptop to try and get the temp up...
The fan STILL doesn't seem to turn on. Strange.
nevermind... I posted too soon.
The fan IS working.
2 hours to take it apart DAMN...at least its fixed now lol
Well... two hours to take it apart AND put it back together.
There's a LOT of f*cking screws! I had to pin them through a sheet of paper and label them so I don get them mixed up.
I've had the laptop running since (without the cooling base) and it hasn't shut off yet. I'm satisfied with my work...
Took me long enough to get to it tho... I asked Pastrami about it MONTHS ago.
