Yes please, I'll two boxes of them.

we are definitely going the right way.

Could we have some toffee nipples instead so I can have something to chew on during the day.

Do you have any idea how much easier your life would have been if you had gone with a subject like political science?
Or gone to law school.............No dissertations there :thumb:
I'm working on marketing cases if it makes you feel any better. Currently investigating the water purifier market in India. FUN!

Also, (mostly or entirely) naked girls on bikes always annoy me. When they start out wearing a leather jacket it's always too big, just advertising that it actually belongs to the producer. Then they do all sorts of things on a bike that make me wonder how many times they tipped it over. They never look like they're familiar with it or like they're using it as anything but a couch. I suppose I just need to keep my porn and my motorcycles separate.

No logic skills needed either!!!
Bingo, that's why I'm gonna go to law school

I'm on to proline isomerization kinetics and amino acid side chain rotamer analysis now.... wanna trade?
Your just getting to that?

Hey, what can I say... PSU is a publik skool. We dont lern sofistuhkated stuff lyke that till the 23rd grade :dunno_white:
lucky you, at least you're writing. I finally found out today that I passed my last prelim. So now I get to officially start forming questions for my dissertation. Yay.
You crazy grad school kids.
Ok I'll play your silly games, WTF is a dissertation?
It's an extensively researched paper discussing, generally, something considered controversial in you selected doctoral field and required for completion of thee degree.
Ok thanks. I know it as a thesis.
Glad I never got a degree.
Generally you do a thesis for your Masters and a Dissertation for your Doctorate.
In my case I'm hoping they will just eventually give it to me out of pity.

Ok, I went and got a trade instead of going to University, so I know bugger all about degrees and such.

Unless you decide to actually make money off all that education and go to med school or law school
Spectroscopic characterization of mixed spin-state mesoheme-peptide conjugates.
Displacement of strained histidyl ligands in peptide-heme conjugates by weak-field ligands.
Ligation state alteration under various conditions of pH and trifluoroethanol concentration.
Peptide helix induction by interactions with covalently attached macrocycles.
Inversion magnetization transfer experimentation to determine cis-trans prolyl amide bond isomerization kinetics.
So far, I have managed to figure out all of these experiments... but I can't get my FREAKIN' HP5500 ink-jet printer to work! How's that for a laugh.
AAAAAARGH....
I need a beer :icon_confused:

Go to the lab and use their laser printer? :dunno_white:
.,.......I've been talking with my cousin that's doing his post-doc at Yale :o Friggin Experimental Nuclear Physics. I asked him what practical application that field had. He replied, ' short of unbinding the very foundation of the universe, none.' His work sounds like a shaZam!-ton of fun really :dunno_white:
Every grad student and post-doc has a memorized speech that they give when asked about the applications of their research.
In truth, 98% of the time the most appropriate response to this question is "this research will get me my PhD".
I'm done writing! woohoo!!!!
No more 14 hour days in front of the computer!
No more .xls -> .dat -> .qpc -> .wmf -> .ai -> .psd -> .tiff-> .doc -> .pdb file conversions!!!!! (damn, it takes alot of work to make a good figure for publication)
I celebrated by going to the local Kawasaki/Triumph/Ducati dealer and throwing my leg over a few Kwackers (I like the ZZR600). Maybe I deserve a reward :icon_mrgreen:
Now all I have to do is print, bind, distribute and (most importantly) DEFEND it in 10 days and my 11 year trek through the college ranks will be complete!
 ME
