Title: Integrated tail light *Again*
Post by: Jay_wolf on July 17, 2007, 05:40:25 AM
I finished my install , i have integrated lights on both sides , front and back , the front is next to the headlight , and the rear is a r1 o1 led taillight from this company in the uk , i used resistors hence why theres a few cable ties im going to neaten it out , and u can clearly see i need to put my 160 4.5 wheel on , it looks so skinny at the moment , just waiting for bearings to come , oh , and i thought id show off my snake lid to  :thumb:

Thats The Reason i havent had the frame painted , or not getting it painted , when i get the rest of my bike painted ,. its a rare colour i think , only on the 1996 , and its a stunning colour , much prefer it over the black and silver ones ,

Thanks dude ! many thanks , i think it looks really nice 2 , when its all painted will look much better!

Lookin damn good!! :thumb: :thumb:  Now to just get a real rear tire on ther :icon_mrgreen:
BTW:  I think some conventional low-profile oval mirrors would look better than bar ends........

Jay,I have basicly the same tail light as you,but with standard bulbs.  :thumb: I just don't like copying you with the head light.I think we did the tail light around the same time.

Terry,I found the old post, but thanks for posting it.I do have search bar issues.I did an advanced search using Jays screen name and head light as the subject and got nothing.I did a basic search for head light and got all kinds of crap. After digging threw the 1st 5 pages I found it,nicely tucked away for another day.  :icon_mrgreen:

I also think we did it at roughly the same time , yea mines a LED and as the title says , got the Signals in there to ,  it was Scott Pa was the first i saw it , and i saw it before that on El Pablo's website , so yea , were both copycats , as for the front , it looks mean as u like , when its painted , will look better , not so mix and match , but yea i really like it , its bright and everything  two bulbs instead of one , really good  :thumb:

Im reverting back to the stock tail light , ive decided i dont like the idea of the light being stuck out so far ,. ideally , id want to find a clear Gs lens cover , and build into that , i had a lil accident :(

My heavy duty engine chain was round my wheel locked in the garage , and i started her up thinking . a) she wasnt in gear b) i didnt put the lock on , then i rev it and bang, the chain hits my undertray and makes the r1 light come out and pulled a wire out , so i have to take it apart to fix it ,

I looked on my bike for damage none what so ever  i took my nexxus off and looked it over every inch  not a mark , Thank God for that coz i wouldnt of forgiven myself . theres my rant!

I polish it with chrome cleaner every week , take it off the bike and rub it senseless , becuase of my proper Noobish , crappy mistake , i removed the exhaust and checked for marks not a single mark on it , so its all good , i looked thro it with a torch , its 100% Straight thro
