Im bumping this to see if I get any feelers on parting this thing out. Im still trying to convince my neighbor that he'll get his $$$ quicker that way, but I also want to see how many people are interested in Katana parts.

FE - 150, Rear shock - 50, carbs 100 max, they have parts that cross intoGS land, but not whole carbs.
So tell your friend he can get $300 for it with the pain of parting it out.
Sell it as a whole - you'd never see 1/2 your money with parting out. ask anyone who has done it.
Cool.
Srinath.

see srinath down here in sunny florida  the front end price would be double.
the shock is right on
The clean title
and the engine would bring you the most money
Not to mention the plastics

Everybody is sucking the old katanas up around here to use for transportation to work.  so all of a sudden parts have become scarce

Any GOOD pics of the plastics and the damage? I might be interested, and I'm about 1.5 hours away from the Hampton Roads / VA Beach Area.

You can email me at  ctandc@comcast.net
Thanks

Chris

Working on the pictures.  The bike it back in his garage now, so I have to wait on him.  BUT the plastics need to have the sticky crap worked off as most of the stickers are gone. The damage is on the right side fairing low. Ill get those pics up soon.
