Just got the bike a month or so ago..
Pretty low miles.
So far.. New signals, rear fender "reduction", Katana Rear wheel.. 89 clipons
Lots of cleanup work..
Near Future plans include Acewell computer, (why I didnt paint the cluster surround)
dr-z mirrors
exhaust/k&n/rejet
still gotta trim my chain guard and put it back on.
Nice :thumb:
how are those turn signals? they don't look like they have that many leds :dunno_white:.
They have 3 leds and are made by Lockhart Phillips, they really are not very bright, I was pretty dissapointed. I wouldn't purchase them again if these ones broke. The rear lights are also made by Lockhart Phillips but are much brighter (they use a standard bulb).
yeah thats what i was thinking, if there is no reflectors in the rear ones just add some foil paper behind the bulb to make it brighter :thumb:
Reflectors wont do much for LED. They dont spray light. LED's are front only ... They have a 35 degree spread.
Cool.
Srinath.
Very nice, It's looking good :thumb:
hate to ruin your fun there my friend but.....i did notice in the rear tire pic.. that it looks like your break arm is rubbbing the rear tire causing part of it to be worn away. You might want to fix that. :dunno_white:

Thats from throttling hard out of a good lein. Mine does the same when I get frisky.
Very nice looking bike. Gotta do that rear wheel the same as the front though. :thumb:
^^^ yeah I like the front wheel also :thumb:
i;m glad i am not the only one with 2 different color wheels   also the sides of my tires are starting to look like that too. my tlr looks like that most of the time, nice +soft tires and a great lean angle = no chicken stips
the bike looks super very clean conditions !!! congrats on your new bike !! the blue wheel in front looks killer !! i have both of my wheels painted like that but in red ! with polished rim. you said katana tire ? what number is the tire the biggest one i could mount on my bike is 140.
and for the white stripe on the bike !!! I notice that the 4x4 truck have the same !!! i dont like the white on the bike .
for the led . they are blinking correctly or they just stay still. if stay still , I solve that problem with a pair of resistor for $1.50 ea
and now that you are on the led move !! check out my tailligth you can do the same !!! and my leds turn signals have 21 bulb in each side
I pay $75.00 for my led taillight and now I found one for $35 , some buy it and never use it and is reselling it . the auction ends without any sell so i send a message to see if him whant to relist the taillight . so buy it you will never found that for that prize !!!

The arm has over 3/4" of clearance, which is nice.. Bending the stock arm would have barely gotten me by. The tires are power races, wear like that is normal because of the soft compound.

I kinda do like it, but I think I will just end up getting a front wheel to match the rear. The f%$king shop who put on my tires gouged the front wheel up (screwed up the paint). ApexMoto in Anaheim, DO NOT go there, they use a piece of junk mounting machine and do not care about your wheels, they will gouge them up and not do anything about it.

It is a 2001 Katana Rear WHEEL. Here in the U.S., the 1998-2002 Katana rear wheel will bolt right on. You just use the GS Cush Drive and sprocket, a couple thin washers under the sprocket for chain clearance and you are good. The chain only clears by about 1/8" and i think the rear wheel alignment is off slightly to aid that, so i need to look further into possibly spacing out the front sprocket/using a new sprocket that puts the chain out a little further.

They work, they just blink a little faster than normal.

I do not really like the look of the stock taillight, I have to figure something out to use to replace it.
