what do you think? :dunno_white:
Like those people use their rearviews anyway... :icon_confused:
Flashing your brights at them a few times usually does the trick and it costs a whole hell of a lot less than $30.
I hate people, especially in Texas where the roads are straight and clear for miles, who drive i the left lane despite the giant f%$king signs on the side of the road that say "Slower Traffic Keep Right". Usually I'm not too bothered by it but I absolutely hate passing on the right just because some no-reading twit just barely passed driver's ed. Sometimes if they're driving excessively slow in the left lane and they refuse to move over I'll give them the bird or something. The only time I can think of that I ended up wanting to go back and get one of the "slow keep right" signs and beating a man to death with it was when some shaZam! chicken brake-checked me when I flashed my brights at him...he did it refuckingpeatedly...and not just a "tap", he left rubber on asphalt he checked so hard. I was allowing enough distance to recover, but had he caused me to hit him I swear I'd have shot the fucker. God I hate that shithead. I can't wait to see him again.
When I'm riding, the cars in my vicinity can have any lane they want...

hah, i brake check when people are on my ass when i'm in a situation where i can't go any faster (because somebody is in front of me) or i'm already doing more than the limit on a road where i cannot move over.

same here.
I hate being flashed. If someone is coming up on my ass I will get over unless I can't. And in the latter case flashing isn't going to get me to get out of your way any faster. I absolutly hate it when people ride my ass and flash me when I am following a line of cars, I can't drive thru them so learn a little thing called patience. Be curtious, not an asshat.
I wouldn't spend the money on it and in the day and age of out of control road rages it's more likely to get you a brake check.
Mak sorry to hear texas is going down hill like that. Last time I rode through East Texas on the way to New Orleans I was stunned by how polite the drivers were. They would see us closing in their rear views pull to the shoulder and wave us past in their lane it was awesome.
I thought the problem in SC was due to being at the bottom of education...either they cannot read the "slower traffic keep right" signs or they do not know the diiference between left and right. Even though in SC it is illegal to "impede the progress of a faster vehicle" no matter the speed, the inconciderate ones continue to drive slowly in the left lane.

I feel this way too. This revs me to a 7 on my 10 point tolerance scale.

+1
Some people are offended by being passed, on the RIGHT.
No, they really don't think they should move out of the way. There are two lanes and they're only using one.
Personally I think there should be fines imposed on folks that don't PASS ONLY in the left-most lane. Heavy fines. Like $150-$250.
That is what the left lane is for. Not for "I'm going to turn left in 2 1/2 miles" or "Keeping up with traffic"
Passing, nothing else. Move left, pass, move back right. Easy as pie.
Why is it so difficult for people to be courteous ? I dunno.
More and more people don't care what lane they are in. All they care about is getting to where they are going as fast as they can get there and screw anybody else. Slowly all the driving etiquette is dying off.
How many times have you seen car's block a 4 way because they were in the middle of the road and the light changed red? Blocked a driveway because they don't want anymore cars in front of them? It's all BS.
Eh it's different where I am in NYC. You go into whatever lane is moving the fastest. Sometimes it's left, right, middle, or the shoulder if you're a turd.
As far as brake checking, I actually find myself doing that more often than I should. I hate asshats who just ride an inch off your bumper for no reason whatsoever. And I personally don't care, because NY State (And I believe most states) automatically put the person behind at fault unless they are extraordinary circumstances.

Agreed. Allowing more than 13 feet of space is asking someone to take it up it seems. I really don't understand how someone 'wins' by being two spaces ahead between redlights. Civility is dead. They just won't stop beating it.
When I was riding with a couple other guys some, we were in a line of traffic doing about 75 and some @$$hole in a chevy crew cab long bed truck gets about 12 inches from my buddies motorcycle. he just moved over into the on coming lane and let the guy pass, it's not worth dying. but he didn't get anywhere, just up to the next car ahead....plus he also passed a couple of us doing over 100mph we were doing 90 and he flew by 2 of us at the very end of a passing lane cutting us off.
90 on a public road :icon_rolleyes: lol just joshin ya
i stay in the far left lane on 3+ lane freeways on my bike because there aren't as many people coming in and out of it and i only have to worry about people coming from one side. plus i'm generally on the high end of the pace of traffic so i'm never in anyone's way, but if i am, i move.
i've found that sitting just before uncomfortably close and so that your grille is in their sideview works great if you don't want to flash or anything. i'll generally flash when i'm still a little ways off so they know i'm coming and i'd prefer to not have to slow down, then if they insist on staying in my way and i can't pass on the right, i sit there in their mirror flashing my headlights on and off and on and off and on and off and on and off and on and off until i have the room then jump on the gas and let them inhale my exhaust, but i have never, nor will ever, flip anyone off. (on the road...)
what really bugs me is when you're trying to change lanes and someone speeds up then sits right next to you so you have to slow way down. my dad used to count to three when he was in his truck and 48' trailer and someone was ingoring his turn signal. if they were still there when he got to three, they moved very fast or they ended up in the weeds.
