+1 on polishing the bolt heads. :thumb:
I did that to mine when I put the gixxer pegs on. Instead of using wet & dry, I just gave the bolt heads a run on the polishing wheel.
Good job Dax, its fun just puttering around with this bikes isnt it? Might want to put some kind of clearcoat on it though. Pay no attention to the humps with the bad attitudes, dime a dozen.

Boy, that can lead to fun times if you're not holding on tight enough, eh?

I didn't have that problem this time, but on the smaller bolts I did manage to polish up a knuckle and finger tip.
Unless you spill some blood working on a car or bike, you haven't done a proper job.
BTW wire wheels are better for getting bolts to fly. :o ;)
i want to polish some other parts like the side covers of the engine, 2 wheels, and the frame but since i have notice rust in the frame i think it could not be polish or will get all rust later. the angin cover some1 knows the material, can be polished. i polish the sasy bar but every times a drop of water drop on it it will get stained. I dont want polish any other part that happend the same.. by the other hand the ouside rims of the wheel and the front end i polished and they could get water and dirt but keep shine without stain ..
I try to do my best on english !!
I can't offer much advice on polishing as I only do small parts and I'm a novice at it.
