Title: How access Tacho bulb?

Hey fellas. It seems the backlight on my tach has burned out. Does anybody know offhand how to get at it? I disconnected the tach sensor and pulled the whole assemble out, but don't really see how to get inside it. I tried twisting the ring around the glass but its not moving and I'm afraid to try to hard. I know this is prolly an easy one...

The instruction on the post before me is a good tutorial, its about a 2 beer repair!
